33 years old Rahul Agarwal was an integral part of the highflying world of finance until an entrepreneurial bug bit him. Who would have known that a chartered accountant, who was always busy juggling numbers and calculating figures, would one day venture out on a journey to discover nature and its ways to preserve the beauty of human body.
Mr. Agarwal spent 5 years working at Ernst and Young before turning into a serial entrepreneur. He first donned the hat of an entrepreneur in 2007 with a revolutionary idea of teaching students worldwide, with the help of Indian teachers. Today, his company, Innovadia LLC, is one of the largest in this space and is working with the US Federal Government under a government funded program and is reaching out to more than 20,000 students in the United States. No other Indian company has been approved to work with Federal Government under this program.
For Mr. Rahul Agarwal, innovations capture his fascination and he believes that an idea should be terrific enough to lose sleep over. Thus, after tasting success with his first venture, he decided to take a plunge into the personal care industry. Realizing the amount of potentially harmful chemicals hiding in everyday products, particularly cosmetics and skincare products, and due to his strong belief that chemicals are for laundry and not for the skin, he initiated on introducing a mild and natural way to restore the beauty of human skin.
Despite having no prior experience of the personal care industry and being strongly discouraged by several industry stalwarts owing to the hugely competitive nature of the beauty segment in India, Mr. Agarwal was determined to develop a good quality product with a reasonable pricing. It took Rahul and his team two years to conduct a thorough research about the beauty product market in India and abroad. The limited availability of pure and organic beauty products in the country led to the conception of ‘Organic Harvest’, India’s only home grown brand with an entire range of organic skin care products that speaks of nature in its purest form. Rahul Agarwal’s vision was clear; to provide the best quality personal care products and promote the concept of safe skin.
An ardent traveler, Rahul loves to explore the vivid corners of the world and interact with culturally varied people. So far, he has sojourned across ten countries. After wandering across various cities and noticing the popularity and demand of organic beauty products out there, Mr. Agarwal has his eyes set on taking his brand ‘Organic Harvest’ to the top in the next few years by making it familiar to Indian customers.
